Love this restaurant. Brings me back to being little. Great food and always friendly service. Wish they stayed open later than 7pm. Would definitely visit more often.
The food is southern comfort and delicious. My grandmother used to get her holiday pies from this place. They were the best, even today they don’t disappoint. A slice of pie is a must here! Great prices, food and service.
Came up to visit my Nana from Florida. Tracy was our server. She is AMAZING. She is so hard working. She kept the dining room moving. Made our visit memorable. We will be back.
I am most certainly never disappointed when I eat here!! I love coming here so much! The staff here are very friendly and this place gives a homely Southern type vibe. The food is amazing! This was my second time coming here and I was able to try the crabmeat stuffed fish, mashed potatoes and gravy, and cabbage with a roll. It was so good and very well seasoned! You get a lot for a very reasonable price!! I have no complaints about this place here! I recommend this place to anyone! I wish they had one near Virginia Beach because I'd definitely be there more often! I look forward to coming here again!
The cafeteria staff that make the plates could be more friendly however the cashier always seem to make up for it but the food is still really good.
Didn’t even know this place was right behind my house. Got the Nashville chicken w Mac n cheese, mashed pot, cabbage n a piece of pecan pie. I got no problem paying for decent food but the fact that it was a cafeteria n was on a steam table made it the best 20 I’ve ever spent on fast food. Hell I’d pay more than that
The food was amazing. Reminded me of my Granny's Cooking. The food was food, fresh and nicely priced. The dinning are could use some updating; however, it was well kept.
I'm a liver connoisseur and most cafeterias & restaurants that don't bread and fry their liver tend to overcook them. That was NOT the case here! I was visiting for the wknd and my gf made a point to take us there because she knows I love liver. It was delicious!!! I recommend!!! All of the food was good!!
